Ilchi Lee: Choose, and it will be so.

Ilchi Lee on Jul 27th 2008 10:27 pm

Here I want to share a very powerful message which reminded me of one of Ilchi Lee’s messages.

In the infinity of life where I am, all is perfect, whole, and complete. The past has no power over me because I am willing to learn and to change. I see the past as necessary to bring me to where I am today. I am willing to begin where I am right now to clean the rooms of my mental house. I know it does not matter where I start, so I now begin with the smallest and the easiest rooms, and in that way I will see results quickly. I am thrilled to be in the middle of this adventure, for I know I will never go through this particular experience again. I am willing to set myself free. All is well in my world.

The question, “Is it true or real?” has two answers: “Yes” and “No.” It is true if you believe it to be true. It is not true if you believe it isn’t true. The glass is both half full and half empty, depending on how you look at it. There are literally billions of thoughts we can choose to think.

Most of us choose to think the same kinds of thoughts our parents used to think, but we don’t have to continue to do this. There is no law written that says we can only think in one way. Whatever I choose to believe becomes true for me. Whatever you choose to believe becomes true for you. Our thoughts can be totally different. Our lives and experiences are totally different.

Ilchi Lee has delivered very similar messages during his lectures. Either you think you will succeed or fail, you are right.

Brain Education in UN with Ilchi Lee

healingfamily on Jul 1st 2008 11:22 am

On June 20, 2008, the International Brain Education Conference was co-sponsored by sections of the United Nations (UN), and focused on how to incorporate Brain Education’s understanding of the brain into meaningful educational reform.

Within the brain lie the causes and solutions to the major problems that the UN and humanity care about. The premise of the Conference was that we must focus on the brain itself, and how to use it well, to create an authentic culture of global well-being, peace and prosperity.

Here are the distinguished speakers at the conference:
Antonio Damasio, M.D., Ph.D, Director of the Brain and Creativity Institute, University of Southern California, author of Descartes’ Error (Neuroscience, Education and Culture)
Jill Bolte Taylor, Ph.D., author of My Stroke of Insight, recognized by Time Magazine as one of the world’s 100 most influential persons (How to Use the Brain Well)
Ilchi Lee, President, University of Brain Education and IBREA (Brain Education – Our Hope for the Earth)
Eran Katz, Regional Coordinator for IBREA Israel and author of Secrets of a Super Memory (Unlimited Potential of the Brain)

Jessie Jones, Ph.D., Co-Director of the Center for Successful Aging, California State University, Fullerton (Brain Education for Successful Aging)
Dong-geun Seul, Commissioner of Education, Busan, South Korea (Character Education and Brain Education)
Warrington Parker, Jr., Ph.D., Vice President, IBREA USA (Brain Education in U.S. Schools)
Helene-Marie Gosselin, Director, UN Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization, New York Office (Education for a Culture of Peace)
Hanifa Mezoui, Ph.D., Chief, NGO Section, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, UN (UN Millennium Development Goals).

Dr. Ilchi Lee on character and success

burnedbright on Jan 24th 2008 08:12 pm

Here’s a great excerpt from ‘principles of Brain Management’ by Ilchi lee,

As you move toward your goal, remember that no one is going to hand success to you on a silver platter. It will only come through diligent hard work and continuous refinement of your character. These things, in a way, are more important than achieving the goal itself.

A diamond is just a lump of coal until it is turned into a diamond through constant pressure. You also can be transformed by the pressures you face. Rather than becoming discouraged or destroyed by them, let them shape you into a stronger, more refined human being. Like a diamond, you can gain amazing durability while also remaining pure.

In fact, true greatness in life is really a matter of character. Many people have achieved fame and fortune of some sort. But what makes a person truly great? What makes a Mahatma Gandhi or a Martin Luther King Jr. stand out among people? If you look closely, you will see that the only significant difference is character. On the bodily level, they were no different than ordinary people. They were composed of ordinary flesh and bone, and they did not possess any special superpowers. Even their brains were just ordinary brains. But they used those brains with an astounding level of pure conviction that transformed their characters beyond the ordinary plane of human existence.

To use your brain to its fullest potential, you must develop a similar level of conviction about what you want to contribute to the world. Then, like a cut diamond that sparkles from every angle, you will radiate pure light to everyone you meet.

Taking IT Global

BetterLife on Nov 27th 2007 08:30 pm

Today I visited a site, www.TakingITGlobal.org ,which is showing hopes of earth. It is from sharing to action over the world. It is like a United Nations of young people. They share their opinions on many issues over all over the world, propose projects then do actions on it.

I think if they can find better contents for themselves or for their actions, their actions will be much more powerful. For example, Brain Management, Brain Wave Vibration methods, Longevity walking methods… will give strength & inspiration, help them do better action. In South Korea, Brain Education is becoming popular in many schools. So I think this brain education is also very helpful for them.

In fact, all contents created or proposed by Ilchi lee’s are about Cosmic Energy & Cosmic Mind, so it can be easily utilized for all age. We can take IT global…

Ilchi Lee on the Current Educational System

burnedbright on Oct 26th 2007 09:15 pm

Currently, all standards of school education are adjusted to the needs of the school rather than those of the child, to the teacher or administrator rather than the learner. And the method of teaching, too, is heavily weighted toward unilateral indoctrination rather than individual intellectual development.

This is why we need more BE classes!

Overcoming Duality

GoldOR on Oct 3rd 2007 07:58 pm

From Ilchi Lee’s book The Twelve Enlightenments

Despite the countless changes in external appearances and actors and players, our human civilization, this version anyway, has had a consistent philosophical base in duality.  You and I, Yin and Yang, This and That, White and Black, Good and Evil, God and Devil… so on.  This duality has been so ingrained as to be instinctive, the glasses through which we understood and sought to understand everything in the universe.  Competition and domination, the basic driving force in our society is an offspring of duality.  What, then, is the alternative to duality?  What can fill the narrow and yet impossible gulf between God and Satan?  What is the “middle” that we have forgotten and need to recover?  The answer is life, energy (Ki), and Human.  Especially, a new understanding of the human, the instigator and protagonist of creation, is the key to overcoming the inherent flaw of duality.

Reestablish Connection with Earth

GoldOR on Oct 3rd 2007 07:57 pm

From Ilchi Lee’s book The Twelve Enlightenments

Spirituality is the bridge that connects us to the ultimate source of all existence, the sea of nothingness.  Therefore, a spiritual awakening is reestablishing the connection to the source, discovering your own roots, in a sense.  The first order of business that we must accomplish in order to know our own roots is to know the root of our physical manifestation first and foremost: namely, Earth.  To know that your life and Earth are not separate but one, that you are a part of the great biosystem called Earth.

Kids Caught in the Academic Trap

GoldOR on Oct 3rd 2007 07:56 pm

 www.ilchilee.com

From a translation of Ilchi Lee’s book The Power of the Brain

The academically gifted are clearly talented. There are children who are able to learn conspicuously more than others even though they study for the same period of time. Such children should continue to develop dreams of becoming a professional, such as a researcher or a professor, in a field they enjoy. The problem is children who are forced to study, even though they have neither the interest nor the talent for it. Left with no other choice, these kids study to keep from disappointing parents or teachers, but they fall behind children who are better at it and always have the bitter taste of defeat in their mouths.
